This Friday, July 31, we will be performing our new single "Lost In a Memory" at Bull Shooters with our friends in Hammersmith!  Then, Saturday, we trek across town to Night Flights to rock the outdoor stage with our good friends in The Romantic Era!  We promise this weekend will be a hard rockin weekend.  You won't be disappointed!

It's been about a year since we had new music for you to listen to.  So, without further adieu, we give you "Lost In a Memory".  Send us some feedback and let us know what you think!  We'd really appreciate it!

Casting Shadows

We're taking the stage at Scully's Pub  with Waiting for Never and The Romantic Era!  Make sure you're there with your friends!  Peace!

It's been a while since we've updated our page, but we have been busy!  We've been out playing shows, writitng new material, and fine tuning some existing material!  There have already been some changes that you can already see and hear.  First off, we never really made an official announcement, but we added a very charismatic lead vocalist to the band in Sean Patrick Dunn!  Dustin had made the decision that he wanted to concentrate more on playing guitar and filling in with the background vocals which has really added a new dynamic to the sound.  We've also added Bochi on Bass, formerly of Dead City Drowning (kind of - they might still play out a bit longer).  We are continuing to improve on our sound and the whole Casting Shadows experience.

We will also be entering the recording studio to begin recording our first album.  You may remember that we had started the process about a year ago and hit a few speed bumps along the way which forced us to shelf the project.  Since then, we've written new and stronger material that we feel will create a better finished product.  In the end, if there's a song you remember from many years ago that didn't make the cut, let us know!  You never know what could happen in the future!  Stay tuned for a tentative track list.

Speaking of studio work, the first song we will focus on will be "Lost In a Memory".  We intend on submitting this particular song for the 2009 RockErie Music Award's Song of the Year.  Unfortunately, since the deadline for submissions is set for June 22, 2009, we feel that there won't be enough time to complete the entire album for Album of the Year.  So, we will have to wait till next year for that one!

At any rate, we hope this was enough to tide you over.  If this wasn't enough, we'll be posting a special acoustic performance of Lost In a Memory for your enjoyment very soon.  Unfortunately, it was recorded before Sean Patrick and Bochi came onboard, but it will do the trick.  Stick around and watch for new stuff!
