Why the Geek Army should be doing your corporate event or festival..

by chunk, posted 27 Jul 2008 06:51 PM

There are several reasons, not the least of which are:

1) The Geek Army has played several outdoor and indoor festival events ranging from Ohio Bike Week 2008 (30,000 people in attendance) to Celebrate Erie and the Erie Wild Rib Cook-off to name just a few.

2) The Geek Army, though primarily a bar band, has entertained thousands upon thousands at special events, and have developed a special stage show which involves a completely family oriented look, feel and sound.

3) Reputation. The Geek Army earned the Favorite Cover Band award in 2007 at the RockErie Music Awards, and have been nominated once again for this year's awards, as well as individual awards for Favorite Male Vocalist, Favorite Guitarist, Favorite Bass pLayer and Favorite Drummer.

4) The Geek Army can cater their stage show to the event. Lots of kids in attendance? Watch them parade around with the Geeks during the sets while singing along. Class reunion? The Geeks can specialize in mostly 80s rock and dance music. Corporate event? A mainstream rock oriented event you don't have to scream to be heard over, yet enables attendees to let their hair down and have fun.

5) Professionalism. There cannot be many acts out there today who are more dedicated, skilled or professional when it comes to their craft than is the Geek Army. Always prepared. Always aware of what is expected of them. And always ready to entertain a crowd.

6) History. The Geek Army has been consistently drawing record crowds in venues in the tri-state area for ten years and have performed hundreds of shows.
