After a 4 week hiatus, The BluesBeaters returned to form with their regular club gig at the Corry Central Labor Club last Saturday. A little rusty at first, we soon fell into that comfortable groove that comes from playing together for a LONG time.
The fun continues this weekend at Peek 'n Peak where we've enjoyed five years of entertaining the guests and staff of that fine, first class resort. Friday, May 2 at 9:00 and Saturday, May 3 at 9:30 pm. Hats off to Troy for winning a spot in Erie's Bartender contest.
Special thanks to Jeff and all those at RockErie for taking the horns of this event. I sometimes have a hard time dealing with ONE band; I can't imagine dealing with dozens of bands. This is a true asset to the Erie music scene. On May 9, we return to Billie's then we're at The Sand Bar on May 17.
