The Rockerie Music Awards 2008 has come and gone for this year and what an event it was. This was the first year for the PUNK ROCK category and thanks to all of you and your outstanding support, the ASSMEN have won the Award for RockErie Music Awards "Favorite Erie Punk Band 2008". We LOVE each and every one of you that voted for us. You are the best and that is what keeps us going. Also a big thanks to the sponsors and organizers that put together the GREAT event called the RockErie Music Awards 2008. I will look forward to this event every year and I will definitly be there to enjoy all the local genres in the Erie music scene as one.

This award means so much to us as a band in the awesome city of Erie, PA. We definitly have to mention our good friends, the Tradesmen. The Tradesmen and Assmen and the ENTIRE punk rock community in Erie, Pa won when this award was presented showing Erie, Pa that punk rock is alive and well in this city. We all win and thanks to ALL of you for your support.
