We(AkoostaChris Mathers and TomKat Morrison)have been together for almost 6 years now. we have over 200 songs in our repertiore and are constantly adding more. You can never learn everything. There are too many great songs out there. we do stuff from the 70's all the way up to today's favorites and a few 60's jams. We also throw some comedy stuff in the mix like Tenacious D and Adam Sandler. We adjust what we play to fit the venue that we're performing at. Some things just aren't appropriate to do in certain places, but some things are. (mischievous laughter) Hee Hee Hee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

We do all cover songs, but we add our own style to them, so basically we play them with an original twist wich makes us different from the normal cover groups that try to duplicate a song note for note.That's boring to both us and our fans. If you wanna hear a song played exactly like the original then just "put another dime in the jukebox baby". I guess you could say that were abnormal (Ha Ha!). We do songs that have never been done acousticaly, like Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf, or Aerials by System of a Down for example. The list goes on and on.

we average about 125 shows a year so were very busy and that's the way we like it. Our prices depend on a lot of different factors, but we average between $200 and $300 per show and people deffinately get their money's worth and then some. alot of people don't realize how hard an akoostik act can rock until they see us rock and hear our thunder. People can't believe that there's just two of us with our wall of sound. they say that it's sound so full like an entire band. We beat our guitars into submission. There's no holding back. We're not scurred to break a string let alone our guitars.
