I started playing with Frank Singer about 18 years ago when I also began studying with him.  I studied jazz, bass, guitar performance, music theory, arranging, chart reading development, stylistic paramaters, and improvisation with an emphasis on jazz. I started 3Bop together with Frank Singer and Brad Amidon. This group has backed many national and international artisits...including locally Alan Zurcher, Bobby Grant, Charles Ventrello , Katie Chirst ect... National and International artisits include...Eddie Baccus Jr., Dwayne Dolphin, Chrisitian Howes, Tony Campbell, Chris Hemingway, Claire Daly, Lou Stellute, Dave Schiavone, Umar Raheem, Dominack Ferranachie, Bruce Johnston & Delano "Volcano" Choy. I am also a freelance player and have performed with such diverse artists as Dr. Nathan Davis, Kenny Blake, Roger Humphries, Pat Martino, Kenny Davis, Enrico Gonzolas, Etta Cox, Martha Reeves & John Bacon Jr. Some of the other bands that I have been privliged to either co-lead or join for an evening have included...Soulclap, Monster on a Leah, 3Bop with the Edinboro Chamber Orchestra, Midnight Love "Marvin Gaye Tribute", Gem City Allstars, The Red Hot Rugcutters & The Foley Project with ex- members of Miles Davis and Arrested Development. Right now I am working on a new project with Joel Pollaci and Dan Halett called "Free Speech Three" and have participated in clinics at Gannon, Edinboro & Penn State Berhend.3bop will celebrate it's 10yr anniversery this year,and is one of the hardest & steadiest working jazz ensembles for over a decade. On top of sharing the stage with some amazing performers, we have opened for Either/Orchestra, Garajmahal & The Lindsey Honer Quartet. We perform at clubs,festivals & concert halls.
