Hey there everyone. We just wanted to use this as an introduction. If you haven't heard of us, we wanted to let you know that we exist here in the NW PA area. We're a rock band featuring ex-members of Signal Home, The Twirpentines, The Caddies, and Waiting for Never. 

We've got a new album recorded, mixed, and mastered titled: In the Fire of My Youth, and it'll be coming out extremely soon. We all live in Meadville, but that's never seemed to slow any of our previous bands down. 

Signal Home was a band that was signed by Carbon Copy Media and distributed by Victory Records via SONY/RED worldwide, they toured a lot and unfortunately didn't get to play their hometown too often. They broke up, and members from that band, started up One If By Land. 

Fred Oakman our singer and lead guitarist has a solo endeavor that he's been pursuing for quite some time now. Perhaps you've seen him around town at some local singer/songwriter showcases.

This band is our baby, we've been writing, and doing music for more than half of our lives now and know exactly why we're still playing. 

We hope you enjoy the music we've been writing, and honestly, we'd love to start playing the Erie area a lot more.

One If By Land

If you've played in the singer/songwriter circuit around Erie, or Meadville... chances are we've crossed paths and hopefully it was a positive experience. I wasn't going to create a rock erie artist profile as I've never been too good at 'sellin' myself, however I wanted to share some songs with everyone here. 

I hope you like what I've posted, I'll do my best to keep up with this page if you promise to do your best to keep coming back. 

I've got a lot of new songs written, and a lot of rock and roll getting ready to be released with my new band One If By Land.
